Time Out
I'm teaching Kindergarten tomorrow. I need to call "time out" since today wasn't a happy face, even though I sang my very best in the shower . It also wasn't a frowny face day. "Electric Blood" focused on my lower legs, hands, joints and hair. I took my first nausia support pill today. My lungs burned. I had a whopping case of diarreah. Memorial Day saved me from the embarrassment of acting 95 at school with my arthritic-like movements and moaning. (Moaning is underrated--I plan to moan a lot, especially in private. I think it possesses some of the same redeeming qualities of laughing your head off, or crying your eyes out.) My cute family went with me on my required 30 minute walk. I love them for laughing at me.

Gae,
I was shocked to hear about your cancer but hold on, you are in for the ride of your life. Our son's cancer experience is one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. We treasure the whole ordeal. We learned things that I don't think we could have learned any other way. It was like the Lord took us by the hand and walked us through cancer. I get all choked up just reliving it.
Ask, "What am I supposed to learn from this?"
You're in our prayers.
I understand what you are going through.
Gae...you sweet sweet person! I had no idea you had been diagnosed. I know you are a trooper and I hope everything goes well for you. Thanks for inviting me to read your blog. You are in my prayers.
