Confusion

In the confusion between day and night, I forgot to take anything for nausea. Consequently, I was abruptly reminded just after three a.m. of the importance of this medicine. I think I misunderstood severe indigestion for some kind of mucous blocking my swallow and panic set in. The more I panicked, the worse I felt. I tried tea and Rolaids, but it wasn't until I lost it that I felt any relief. Two things--challenges are easier to manage when you see them for what they really are (temporary pain, not death-inducing blockage). And don't get so disoriented that you forget the most obvious preventatives for trouble. I'm a slow learner.

Ewww. . . Definitely the wrong one to forget to take!!!! I'm sure you won't forget it again, will ya?! Thank goodness for nausea medication when you're doing chemo! What did they ever do without it? I don't even want to think about it . . . Yuck!

Bless Your Heart!! Is the turbo-antacid medication helping at all?!? How can you tell, I guess, when the nausea takes over.
