Technological Knowhow
Today was radiation AND Avastin in two different places. Having cancer keeps one pretty busy. On Monday I'll be half done with radiation. I started to get a little bit pink today, so it guess it's almost time to bring on the sunburn cream! I feel lucky not to have had any symptoms before now. I'm tired, but who knows why, really? While discussing my four scars and six tattoos today, as an alternative to no breast, my radiologist said, "Even though breasts are considered disposable, a pair sure makes your clothes look good!" I don't know why I thought this was so funny, but it made me laugh out loud in the office.
I have a new cell phone and I'm learning to text message. I feel like I'm really coming into the modern world late in the game here with all of my new technological knowhow. Now I can disturb people anytime I want to, but in a conservative way. I think this is truly my kind of communication. I wonder if I can text to make a visiting teaching appointment. If so, I might actually DO my visiting teaching now! I'm proud that I taught myself how to turn off the annoying sound of those keys beeping out their text...I was about to get kicked out of the chemo room today with all my beep, beep beep beep, beep beep, beep....
