Granddaughter Caroline and I got to hang out early Saturday morning while her parents attended the temple. When I went to greet her in her crib, her eyes filled with tears and flinging her little fist in the air she said, "No! Daddy!". We looked for daddy and mommy too. She was sure they were behind the door to the apartment, so she knocked on it, calling their names. After awhile, she accepted that she was stuck with grandma. She entertained us both with an enthusiastic game of hide and seek. Later, she remembered a page of alphabet stickers that she both sang about and used to decorate her pajamas and forehead. We read books, danced on a vacuum box, climbed the furniture, demonstrated all features of the shiny new kitchen trash can, wore beautiful necklaces and did other things that make being a grandma just about the most perfect job in the world!

Good for you! That is what grandma's are for......to dance around and be silly. Aren't you glad you can do that now???
Caroline has such a sweet little face! Enjoy.
She is very lucky to have a grandma willing to come over at the crack of dawn to spend time with her! Thanks Again!!! My little girl looks like a big girl in those pictures :( How do you slow time down?
