Looking Forward

Having plans is my favorite! I love to anticipate. My niece, Taya (who lives with us) will turn 18 on Oct. 2nd. She missed out on many ordinary childhood experiences. So, to celebrate the last birthday of her childhood, we're taking her to Disneyland! Probably, this will make my children jealous, because no birthday suprise this special ever happened for them. But we're going just the same and I am EXCITED!
Blake and I also have plane reservations to leave Christmas morning to visit Adam and Andrea's new baby daughter in New Hampshire. Both of these plans are making autumn a beautiful season. These leaves are from last year, so I'd better get up the hill SOON to see the current crop.
There are only 13 school days until our first Parent/Teacher conference in Kindergarten. It's crunch time folks, especially since my Mac hard drive crashed last week and I have no files. Even if it hadn't, we're learning a new grading program this year (Skyward!) I've had exactly 30 minutes' training. Time to freak out!
