Tomorrow I get to go back to orthopedics (Glad Game: it's not oncology--tired of that or neurology...those people might be sadistic!) Dr. Skedros has recommended Cortisone shots to begin with, if I am willing to agree. There is a "labrum tear" in my shoulder socket and some nerve conduction abnormalities/damage to deal with. I am so happy for SOMETHING to deal with! Nothing bugs me more than to have a huge something wrong and no one can find it. I like the 'thing to have a name and preferrably a location. A 'thing can be researched, tested and sometimes even corrected. We should discuss it further, but our available office hours don't coincide--The office opens after school begins. When I'm free to speak, they're at lunch. They're through taking calls by the time I'm done with bus duty. Maybe I need to take a class on Cooperative Medical Lifestyle Tolerance. My shoulder pain has had a birthday now, so it should be movin' on. Three different professionals have finally concluded that this pain is probably not (fragile assumption) cancer-related. I'm excited to take action, even if C shots have a reputation for being hideous. Diagnosis was worth the relaxing ride in the MRI machine ("Good job Mrs. Beckstrom! You held perfectly still, but, um...we've never actually had anyone fall asleep in there before!") I'm healing from my shock needle bruises ("No. No patient has ever actually slapped me. Yet.") I need to haul my fat to the gym and it's important to know that my arm won't be falling off over there. It's 40 pounds! So somehow I'll be driving from South Jordan to 5900 So. State (isn't that Braza Grill?) in 10 minutes, with school over at 3:30 and my expected arrival time--3:40. You understand... last appointment of the day...just do your best and you won't be charged if you're less than 15 minutes late! :0)

Good luck with your appointment tomorrow. Please try not to slap Dr. Skedros or pass out mid "C" shot! Love you mom!!!
So if it isn't one thing it is another......so how did it go??? The medical world sometimes doesn't think that other people do have a life!
You like Regina??
