No surgery today after all. Dr. R wanted an MRI to determine, if we can, where this left-side lymph cancer has come from. If it is a new-site breast cancer (with cancer evident in my left breast now) he'll suggest a mastectomy/lymph desection on the left. If there is no evidence of left-side breast cancer, they'll have to assume that it came systemically, via the lymph system, to the left lymph nodes. Not good. My right side lymph nodes had no evidence of cancer when they were removed in January. Either way, it's lose-lose for my web design class, our plans to Virginia and the holidays in the kindergarten, parent/teacher conference and Benchmark Math deadlines. Sheesh.

Well here's to no surgery for now and here's hoping for the best possible scenario!
Boooooooooooo. Not good news to hear!! Especially the trip back east. What can I do to ease the pain of this news????? Oh I know......whatever you want!!!
