On Purpose

Yesterday I swallowed four dexamethazone pills on purpose. I did it again today and I'll do it tomorrow. I was feeling fine. I knew this act was going to give me electric blood by Saturday but I did it anyway. Today my new port coughed and sputtered, and wheezed a little, then magically produced my blood and gulped down my chemo like a dream. I guess it's worth having a lip gloss tub residing in your chest for that. I cuddled under my kindergarten "so you won't be scared" hand print quilt and wasn't scared at my treatment. The other people getting therapy were friendly and the three-plus hours melted awayas we all laid there pleasantly allowing deadly drugs to surge through our bodies, expecting the miracle. We do some weird things to get through this life.

We need to get you some good movies and a portable DVD player to pass the time away! I have a video ipod with lots of LOST episodes and a few movies you could borrow :-) Stay strong!

Seriously, just tell me your favorite shows or movies and I can "rip" them on for you and you will have a lovely hand held video player! I hardly use it, I'd love to share if you are interested!

I love you Mom! You're descriptions of these situations make me smile, I love your language! Blogging is good! But don't worry I'll not use it as an excuse, "I need more you" too :)
